Sea Viper (Principle Anti-Aircraft and Missile System) - Defence EMC Support
EMC Support to the Prime Contractor providing critical EMC analysis, control & management support for the Sea Viper system which consisted of Radar, Command & Control, Launch and Long and Short range ship to air missiles. System EMC assurance from both a Functionality and Safety scenario were undertaken.
The work included analysis of the effects of High Intensity Radiated Fields (HIRF) on Electro Explosive Devices within the missiles, Analysis of Intra & Extra EMC performance of the various sub-systems within the Sea Viper System, with themselves, each other and with the ship platform (UK T45 Destroyer).
Extensive liaison involved with the various sub-co’s producing major elements of the Sea Viper system.
