MIAMI METROZOO
MIAMI, FLORIDA
Miami MetroZoo is the largest zoological garden in South Florida. It is located in southwest of the city of Miami. It houses over 900 wild animals and is the only subtropical zoo in the continental United States. The zoo is on 740 acres, 300 of which are developed. It is 3 miles around if walked on the path, and has over 80 exhibits.
Trek through Asia and see Asian River Otters, Komodo Dragons, and Bengal Tigers. Hike the African Plains with giraffes, zebras and lions. Walk about Australia with koalas, kangaroos and wallabies. The Wings of Asia aviary features more than 80 varieties of exotic and endangered species.
Scope of Services
MCG provided 100% Concept Design Cost plan for the Zoo’s Rhythm of the Tropics area and Wings of Asia Aviary. The facilities include new and renovated animal exhibits, holding areas, landscapes and hardscapes.
