UNIVERSAL ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE
ORLANDO, FLORIDA

Universal Studios Hollywood is the original Universal Studios theme park, created initially to offer tours of the real Universal Studios soundstages and sets. It is the first of many fully-fledged Universal Studios Theme Parks, along with Universal Studios Orlando, Universal Studios Japan, and the upcoming Universal Studios Singapore, Universal Studios Dubai, and Universal Studios South Korea theme parks.

In 1999 Islands of Adventures became part of Universal Studio’s expansion. The park's overall theme is that of a journey of exploration, where guests depart from a main port on an "inland sea" to visit five "islands," each having its own distinct theme, but all emphasizing fun and adventure. These Islands showcase state-of-the-art themed entertainment attractions including roller coasters, interactive play stations, stage shows, robotic dinosaurs, and virtual reality dark rides to name a few.

Scope of Services

MCG provided Cost Estimating of rides, shows, attractions, restaurants, facilities and Area Development for the entire park including five Islands and Port Entry.

We completed budget prototype and design for other international locations. Work also included Facility Theming for the Mummy Ride, Shrek and T2 in California.
