The Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) is the primary public convention center in Central Florida. The OCCC currently ranks as the second largest convention center in the United States with over 2.2 million ft of exhibition space. The center currently offers 7 million ft of total space.

Owned and operated by Orange County Government and located in the heart of the area's tourism district, the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) serves as the perfect event destination.

In November 2001, MCG responded to a Request for Proposal for Construction Auditing Service on the Orange County Convention Center expansion issues by the Orange County Comptroller’s office. Upon award in 2002, MCG provided the following specific functions for the county:

Scope of Services

MCG reviewed contracts for A/E, Program Manager and Construction Manager to insure the County’s benefit. Compared scope of work provided by each party to identify any issues or irregularities. We reviewed standards and procedures stipulated by the contracts, along with the change orders submitted. Also, conducted pricing analysis for current market place and provided the County with written reports and documentation of any or all irregularities within the project documents.
